Directions

Directions from Opelika:

Going toward Auburn onto 2nd Avenue:  turn right on 10th Street.  **Then follow directions in box below.

Directions from Auburn:

Come to Opelika on Pepperell Parkway  (get in the left hand lane at the hospital  and stay in it  until it becomes one lane) which   becomes Second Avenue,  cross the bridge and   turn left at the light onto 10th Street.   **Then follow directions in box below.

 

Directions from I85:  Coming from Montgomery or direction of Atlanta:

Take the Opelika/Hurtsboro Exit.  After you have exited, turn right  toward Opelika.  Pass Shell Station on right.  Stay on  that street (marked Geneva or 10th ST) all the way across the bridge to 4th Avenue.   ** Then follow directions in box below. 

Directions from 431:  Coming from Anniston, Pell City , etc.

Follow 431 all the way through LaFayette.  When you pass Opelika High School on your right and South Union Community College on your left,  turn right at the next light onto 2nd Avenue.   Come into town on 2nd Avenue.  Stay to the right when the road forks.  Cross bridge. Pass BP Station on right.  Pass Bubba’s Medicine Shop, then Trinity Church on right. Go to 10th Street and turn right.  ** Then follow directions in box below

From 10th Street turn left onto 4th Avenue (which is the 4-way stop with light before Catholic church).  Road makes a big curve and becomes Fitzpatrick Avenue.  Pass Miss Muffett’s Daycare on your left.  Turn left into the parking lot of Jean Dean RIF Building. 

          (If  you pass Simmons Street  or another traffic light,  you’ve gone too far.)
